The Highland Lofts is located on Scotland Road, on the border of Orange and West Orange in close proximity to the Valley Arts District. With easy access to highways and public transportation, it is an ideal location for commuters.
Historic Arts
The area surrounding the Highland Lofts was once known as the hat making capitol of the world and is now known as the Valley Arts District. After manufacturing businesses left Orange, factory and warehouse spaces remained empty. These spaces are being repurposed as loft living spaces and artist work spaces. There are galleries, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. The project is ongoing and there are plans for new buildings and retail are expected to continue for the foreseeable future.
Commuter Convenience
The Highland Avenue train station provides easy access to NYC for daily commuters. Bus service is also available with direct access to Newark Penn Station. Additionally, the lofts are conveniently located between I-280 and I-78 which provides convenient access to all major highways in NJ.
